Situated in the middle of Western Europe, Belgium combines magnificent countryside with a wealth of culture, comfort food and charming medieval towns.
At the heart of everything is Brussels. Despite being the headquarters of the European Union, the city has retained its own unique culture. Awe-inspiring architecture includes the Grand Palace, Gothic town hall and Laeken Castle – the official residence of the Belgian royals. Bruges is one of the most popular cities to visit outside the capital. Most of its 14th-century architecture is still intact, giving you the sense you’ve somehow travelled back in time. Ghent is also rich in medieval monuments and is less busier than Bruges in the peak seasons. Antwerp, the Diamond Capital of the World, is also renowned for nightlife, fashion and art scene. Brussels caters for many of the EU’s bureaucrats, so while there are a number of lavish hotels available, prices may spike if there’s a big event going on. All of the major cities have a wide selection of accommodation including hostels, apartments and hotels.

Very beautiful luxurious room. Was travelling solo yet seemed to end up in the honeymoon suite with a double bath. Just a fabulous room, complimentary mini bar to boot. Definitely a place to come to again, my wife would be most impressed! Lovely breakfast and coffee too.

The decoration of the property, its own charm of an old farm turned into a hotel, the surroundings and the same property are incredibly beautiful.
The Staff of the hotel is very very kind and helpful, we talked with the Chef and Manager of the hotel for a couple of hours, we also had a tour around where he explained us a bit of the story of the hotel.
I highly recommend to have dinner in the hotel, the food was a masterpiece, I had an amazing juicy steak with Vegetables, it was perfectly cooked, and I would say, it was one of the best steaks I've had.
The breakfast on the next day was also fantastic, with real bread that you can tell it is not your average industrial made bread
It really gives you the feeling of a family run hotel and not "just a hotel"
Definitely I'll look for another excuse to stay here.

I travelled around the places featured in the film In Bruges. The hotel was excellent, but the city, restaurants, and boat tours were packed with tourists — make sure to book in advance. And that was on a Tuesday and Wednesday; I can hardly imagine what it’s like on the weekend. Ken and Ray apparently stayed in room 10 or 11, not 2x.

Welcome to Bruges! Boutique hotel ‘Le Foulage’ is a -newly completely renovated in 2024 - luxurious city-chic four-star hotel located in the vibrant heart of Bruges.

The Hotel is gorgeous, the reception, the room, everything. It is perfectly located, within walking distance to mostly anything you'll want to see, the breakfast is delicious, though it needs to be booked for each day, which led to a small misunderstanding on our part, but one that was resolved in seconds by the extremely helpful staff.
Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
