Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika is located in a wide park that ends up on a marvelous beach on the banks of the Lake Tanganyika. The breakfast was great and included with the room; the dinners were great including custom made salads and a great pool for swimming laps.

Its a very basic but clean place to stay in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. The staff were very helpful and were very quick in replying to my questions before my visit. Breakfast which was served in another property, located about 20 metres away, was tasty and they also had a lovely bar where you could sit on the terrace and watch the world go by. It's a 20usd taxi ride from the airport and is very good value for money.

Staff are all kind and very helpful. Extra King size bed was comfortable. Breakfast and other dishes were good too.

Featuring a terrace, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. very very stylish hotel, especially the roof restaurant, amazing atmosphere and nice food. The boss is very kind, I will come back again.

Pretty much everything, a great little oasis in what appears to be the hotel area, only a minute or two taxi ride from the main street for nice restaurants and shopping. Room was great with lovely views everything was perfect, hilton in Europe and us could learn a lot from the management here. Breakfast was fine but the view from the breakfast table was second to none.

Botanika Hotel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bujumbura. Built in 1997, the property is within 2.3 miles of Musee Vivant. This is the place to stay in Bujumbura - and there’s only a small number of rooms so book in advance if you can! The service is outstanding, the restaurant is cozy with lovely decor, the rooms are huge with big balcony areas (at least mine was). It’s totally worth it to stay here!
