I had a fantastic time at Ocean Escape Resort & Spa in the Cook Islands. Owners Jade and Barry have created an amazing boutique resort with exceptional attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-stocked fridge, mezzanine bedroom, huge shower, utilities, small dishwasher, mood lighting and the beautiful pool. One of the standout features is BJ's bar, built smartly on stilts so as not to obstruct the stunning beach views from the poolside comforts. This place is a real secret treat, with amazing food and cocktails and lovely friendly staff. As a solo traveler, I felt very much looked out for, thanks to the excellent communication before and during my stay. Manager Elaine seamlessly set me up on activities and adventures all week, ensuring I had a memorable experience. Above all, it was the kind-hearted people involved who obviously love what they do that made my stay exceptional and comfortable. The eco-friendly design of the resort is impressive, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing all modern comforts. The villas are spacious, beautifully decorated with a fresh coastal feel, and equipped with luxurious amenities. The staff, led by Elaine, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their attention to detail and personalized service made me feel truly pampered. Whether it was enjoying a local beer by the poolside BBQ or relaxing on the outdoor daybed, every moment was pure bliss. I couldn't recommend Ocean Escape Resort & Spa enough to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape. It's the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience the beauty of the Cook Islands.

Situated in Arutanga, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Matriki Beach Huts features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable. Complete information booklet within the room. Good location with snorkeling right off the huts, able to walk along beach to nearby restaurant, and good sunsets at night. Free bikes and scooters to rent. But internet data there. Situated in Amuri in the Aitutaki region and Aitutaki Beach reachable within 800 metres, Sunny Beach Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Sunny Beach was a good location. From outside the apartments looked like nothing special but when you walk inside you realise how nice it is for budget accommodation. A very big clean space equipped with everything you require. Luckily we stayed here when we encountered 36 hours of torrential rain. Access to Netflix & other movies. Niki was away at the time but his extended family made sure we were okay & we had everything, they even offered to drive us to the market so we didn't get wet. Once the weather cleared there were pushbikes & paddle boards etc to use. Also everything you need was close by. Meeting the family as well as Niki when he returned was really was one of our highlights staying on Aitutaki.

Situated directly on the beachfront, The Passage Villas is set on 1 acre of gardens and beach. It offers a swimming pool and free tropical breakfast on your first morning. Private, quiet villas with patio to relax, fall asleep hearing the waves, sit on Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine and enjoy the ocean view. The beds are super comfortable, living area cosy, tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The apartments were clean and serviced every day. The swimming pool was steps away, perfect temperature, deep enough to swim laps. There is a ceiling fan, which was usually enough overnight but there is also an air conditioner if needed. You can walk to Muri beach or take the clock-wise bus a couple of stops. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into renovating and beautifying the property. They were kind, gracious hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay!

Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodation located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Cheran and her mum, were super hosts and managers of the Tai Roto Bay Resort. We were greeted at the airport with big smiles and beautiful personalities. Arriving at our beachfront villa took our breath away at the sight of the lagoon right out front. Welcome to Paradise. Villas was gorgeous, clean and bed super comfy with a yummy breakfast delivered daily and very private. Great local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Muri Beach Club Hotel, an adults only oasis from 18years and over is ideally located on the beachfront at Muri Lagoon. Beachfront rooms have stunning views over the lagoon and off-shore islands. Our package included breakfast which was exceptional every day. The staff are ALL friendly, caring, and kind at all times. A most perfect place to relax and recharge!!! The Spa facilities were excellent. LO(VE that it is not open to under 18year olds!!! Meant the place was calm and quiet.
