Everything was great, family business running their Lodge with so much love. They were very welcoming and flexible to accommodate us. Our stay was fabulous, we saw sloths in the forest right next to our room and heard the forest night life, fabulous experience! We had everything we needed for our night there, highly recommended! Small attentions worth everything, would definitely come again.

Lapazul is an absolute gem—easily one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. The views are simply breathtaking, perched high in the jungle with the ocean in the distance, and the chance to spot local wildlife adds to the magic. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and have everything you need to truly relax.
But what really sets Lapazul apart is the top-notch hospitality. The warmth and attention to detail from the staff is among the best I’ve ever experienced—genuine, personal, and truly caring. Special mention to Mr. Jorge, whose first-class service and warm presence made us feel incredibly welcome. He is, without a doubt, one of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered at any hotel in the world.
And the food? Outstanding. Every dish is full of flavor and heart, far surpassing the local restaurants in town. The menu is focused and perfectly executed, with ingredients that shine. You can taste the passion in every bite.
If you’re looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and comfort, this is the place. Plus, it’s just a short drive down to the beach at Dominical. I can’t recommend it enough.

Perfect location, everything you needed was there. The way the casitas are set up were very comfortable and accommodating. If you have a small party, it’s great. If you have a larger party, you can use the outdoor kitchen, which was wonderful. I was very impressed. The price was so reasonable for the location. Management and owners were just so kind

Beautiful rooms with private pool with view to the rainforest. The entire resort is very clean with the pathways cleaned up frequently by the crew, and we spot wild sloth and monkeys in the resort without needing to go out. All the staff were very friendly. The restaurants were great and the food was amazing. Love the golf carts that could shuttle you to places in the resort, the turn down service in the room, and the daily free yoga classes. All of these made the stay simple exceptional and truly special.
