Very calm: next to the jungle and close to the center. Facilities were super clean and comfortable, very nice bed Free fill of water bottles.

Located in Fortuna, 6.2 miles from La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent service, property, facilities, food, and experience overall. Everyone made sure we felt welcome every step of the way and were even able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The pictures don’t do it justice (the rooms are actually nicer than depicted on some of the photos!). They made our stay extra special by bringing treats to celebrate my mom’s birthday and Mother’s Day. We so much appreciate all the kindness and these sweet little gestures.

Located on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 2953 feet from the Village of Dominical. lovely hotel we stayes here whilst looking for a home as we were relocating from abroad and now this place that was ince a holiday destination is now our local for food and we love it highly recommend

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 3.7 mi from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Excellent place. All staff are excellent. Location amazing. Hot pools a looot of fun. Pool bar excellent. Good restaurants and breakfast The older rooms are higher up on the hill and have a great view Great activities even though we didn’t do as much as we wanted

Located in Uvita, 8.1 miles from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Ballena Rey Hotel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Everything was really good! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The apartment was equipped with many cooking appliances. The breakfast was a buffet and it was delicious.

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 3.1 mi away. We loved the staff mainly Andrey from the reception he was excellent, the location and the rooms were perfect for us.

Located in Fortuna, 2.9 miles from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabañas del Rio has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. Everything was clean, and all the staff was so nice. Tasty huge breakfast on the covered patio at the back of the property with views of a bird feeder. We saw even the toucans! The owner has a telescope to let the guests view the birds. It felt special to have Leo lead the night tour of their garden to look for frogs, for every guestroom separately (we stayed 3 nights). The beds are huge and comfortable. There are 3 AC units in the huge main room which has 2 sections for 2 of the king beds, and the cold air overflows into the 3rd bedroom too. Beautiful heated pool with sunbeds. It is only a couple of minutes to drive/taxi into La Fortuna town for many restaurants and services, and some of the attractions of the area are closeby (La Fortuna waterfall, El Salto, some of the tours / farms - we visited Finca Educativa Don Juan behind the property and liked it a lot). We could have had laundry done too. Communication excellent. We wish them all the best!

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. La Roca Negra is like staying in paradise! The wildlife is amazing, particularly the birds. I saw dozens of species, just walking around, including many humming birds, tanegers, and a white hawk. I also spotted a family of agouti. When the weather clears there is also a view of the volcano.

Offering direct access to the beach, Lanna Ban Hotel is located in Puerto Viejo. The hotel features an exotic garden and contemporary Thai architecture. Free WiFi access is available. Great hotel with a lovely pool area and abundance of wildlife. Also very comfortable rooms set in lovely gardens. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is only a short distance from Puerto Viejo town and easy by tuktuk or bike.
