Featuring a bar and views of city, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo, 1.2 km from Praia Da Laginha. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. This was the best accommodation we had in Cabo Verde (between S. Vicente and Sto. Antão). We stayed here first one night and on the return from Santo Antão we stayed 2 more nights. The staff is really great and friendly. The hotel has just a good size: 11 rooms. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, hot water worked well as well as wi-fi. TV is more complicated but the staff will explain to you. There are two terraces, one at the reception level and one on the rooftop (where's also a hot tub - jacuzzi). Breakfasts were excellent, with eggs cooked on demand, good fruits and cereals, great coffee, cakes, etc. (and the staff here again so friendly). I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy some privacy, with few guests and to be just in the city centre. We were so happy coming back here after staying 8 nights in Santo Antão.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is situated in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia de Santa Maria. Very close to the boulevard with all of the shops and restaurants. The beach is also one block away.

Kira's Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo. For a fee, Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Such a lovely place with friendly staff! They all made me feel like I was at home! Amazing breakfast and facilities! I 100% recommend this Hotel and will definitely return.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodation in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of sea, Barceló Praia Cape Verde is set in Praia, a few steps from Praia de Prainha. Highly highly recommend. The food is excellent, the personnel is polite, professional and caring I loved and enjoyed my stay

After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Palmeira Da Cruz EcoLodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Chã da Igreja. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. Outstanding place! The location, the view, the swimming pool. The decoration is so beautiful as well. The hosts were amazing, very caring. Prepared dinner for the guests every night, plus a delicious breakfast. It's a very special place, one of a kind. Honestly you are in for a treat.

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente region, 1.3 km from Praia Da Laginha and 600 metres from Torre de Belem. Very nicely decorated guesthouse with a beautiful inner yard. It is located about 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. There are some good restaurants around. The beds were comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Staff are absolutely lovely and friendly. We will remember their smiles.
