Natural setting and ambiance is very unique and incredible. The staff are very friendly and proactively make sure you get what you expect, including giving me suggestions about kitesurfing, yoga and transportation before my arrival. Food is the best I’ve had in Cape Verde and loved the peaceful and slow 3-course dinners.

Staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and Patricia was wonderful to speak with and learn about her life. Spacious room in a perfect location to be able to walk to everything in Mindelo. Patricia helped me organize a day trip to Santo Antão, a true highlight, as well as an airport taxi.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The help and extra’s they provided was incredible. Also the location right in the middle heart of Mindelo. Clean rooms have all western standards (rainshower, soap miniatures, minibar, safe, tv with Netflix etc). The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious things, both local and international. And don’t forget about the rooftop with hot tub! Amazing place, would definately recommend.

I like the location we got ocean view and else we enough space the room is big and comfortable once you inside the room y won’t wanna go outside because the tv is huge and I love a lot

Very close to the boulevard with all of the shops and restaurants. The beach is also one block away.

Maria and Tony are the most amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make my time in Fogo easy and special and I am so grateful! Also, the food at their hotel is DELICIOUS, the internet worked quite well, and the town of Cova Figuera is a very friendly place. I had a great experience and absolutely recommend this hotel as an excellent value!

Daniel met me at the airport and took me to the spacious property, which is well equipped. he explained everything that I needed to know. Good location, with short walk to a square with restaurants/bars and shops, then a short walk to centre of town. In the other direction is a small modern supermarket (Sucata) with small cafe/bar attached. Just beyond that is a pleasant restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at Black Mamba. Our ocean-view room was very comfortable and decorated with great style and personality. The whole place feels welcoming and unique, with a warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The vegetarian cuisine is excellent — the homemade ravioli and the whole breakfast were truly amazing. We also really appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the staff throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The family running the hotel were so wonderful- they were smiley and helpful, helping us to book taxis, giving us advice about hikes & transport. When accommodation at our next place didn't work out they happily allowed us to stay another 2 nights. The views over the mountains, tropical plants & coast are breathtaking, and the inner garden courtyard where the rooms face is full of banana & breadfruit trees as well as tropical flowers. The breakfast is big & varied day by day- the view from the breakfast roof terrace room is stunning. They gave us tinfoil to take the sandwiches we had made from breakfast on our hike with us.
