Above-and-Beyond Assistance:When our luggage was lost by the airline, Simon and Tesema helped us communicate with the airline and tracked it down. They even arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the hotel the next day—such a relief! 2. Delicious Breakfast with a View: The breakfast was amazing, with so many choices, and enjoying it on the beautiful rooftop terrace with views of Gonder was the perfect way to start each day. 3. Local Experiences & Great Company: Tesema took us on a guided walk to the local market, which was so much fun! We even had a wonderful dinner together—it felt like being with family. 4. Helpful Travel Tips: Tesema gave us great advice about exploring Gonder and Ethiopia, making our travels much smoother and more enjoyable. 5. A Comfortable & Welcoming Stay: The entire team made us feel at home. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay unforgettable. 6. Located in Āksum, 500 metres from King Bazens Tomb, Hotel Delina Aksum features a bar and views of the city. One of the most comfortable stays in Ethiopia. Located close to everything. We always had hot water. The owner is able to set you up with tour guides if you'd like, and is very receptive to all of your needs and questions.

Boasting a terrace and a bar, Gondar Hills Resort is set in Gonder, 2.8 km from Fasilida's Bath and 2.9 km from Kuskuam Palatial stone complex Second castle. Everything was perfect and this is, honestly, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! Rooms are huge, very clean, very comfy beds with different pillow types.The views from the hotel are astonishing. Hotel staff was very kind and going extra mile to help.Also the manager, Mrs Miracle is such a great person. I will for sure use this hotel on all my trips to Gondar!

The owner and staff are exceptionally warm and will do everything to accommodate you and make your experience in Gondar amazing. I felt as if I was at a relative’s house. Also the location is very ideal if you come for Timket. Atse Tewodros square/Piassa is less than 10min walk. Timkete Bahr/Fasil Bath is a bajaj ride away. Fasil Gibi is a short ride away too. Debre Birhan Selassie is walking distance. Plenty of local fresh butcher restaurants and bars walking distance too.

Yohannaes, the manager, was excellent to work with. Thomas, our local guide, that we met through the hotel was outstanding. He showed us all the local rock churches and the local restaurants.

Birhan made all the arrangements perfectly about our transfer from the airport , the visit to the unique churches and our meals. The hospitality we had was memorable! The owner so gentle and hospitable. Definetely we recommend it for anyone that wants to visit Lalibela!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Habte is fluent in English and helps me to arrange the airport shuttles in and out. It was a great experience for me. Highly recommend it.
