Above-and-Beyond Assistance:When our luggage was lost by the airline, Simon and Tesema helped us communicate with the airline and tracked it down. They even arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the hotel the next day—such a relief! 2. Delicious Breakfast with a View: The breakfast was amazing, with so many choices, and enjoying it on the beautiful rooftop terrace with views of Gonder was the perfect way to start each day. 3. Local Experiences & Great Company: Tesema took us on a guided walk to the local market, which was so much fun! We even had a wonderful dinner together—it felt like being with family. 4. Helpful Travel Tips: Tesema gave us great advice about exploring Gonder and Ethiopia, making our travels much smoother and more enjoyable. 5. A Comfortable & Welcoming Stay: The entire team made us feel at home. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay unforgettable. 6. Staff was excellent! Yohannaes, the manager, was excellent to work with. Thomas, our local guide, that we met through the hotel was outstanding. He showed us all the local rock churches and the local restaurants.

Very clean and comfortable room with a huge balcony. The staff was very helpful, a very good contact with staff. Especially the young man at the reception - Solomon - was very supportive and helpful. Also an owner was always ready to help. The room was well equiped and spacious. Breakfast was very good - good service, tasty, a la carte. Good location and secure place.

We had a wonderful stay in Lalibela. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. They supported us in arranging both a knowledgeable local guide and a smooth transfer. The hotel stuff served very tasty meals for lunch and dinners. From each balcony the views were simply breathtaking we had two rooms and both offered incredible panoramas. Everything was clean. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lalibela.
