I stayed before and after my hike in the Simien mountains in the lodge du chateau. Simon is an amazing host! He is so helpful and friendly, i can only recommend him. Also the overall staff was great. The breakfast was also amazing with a lot of different choices and the view from the Terrasse is beautiful!

Featuring a terrace and a bar, Gondar Hills Resort is located in Gonder, 1.7 miles from Fasilida's Bath and 1.8 miles from Kuskuam Palatial stone complex Second castle. Everything was perfect and this is, honestly, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! Rooms are huge, very clean, very comfy beds with different pillow types.The views from the hotel are astonishing. Hotel staff was very kind and going extra mile to help.Also the manager, Mrs Miracle is such a great person. I will for sure use this hotel on all my trips to Gondar!
