The personnel was very kind and helpful. The location is a bit outside of the city, but that is actually nice because it is more quiet. In addition, you can easily walk to the city or take a cheap shared taxi for 3 cedis.
At first I was a bit hesitant to book because there were so little reviews, but the guesthouse is just really new. That is actually nice. For example, there is good working warm shower and airco.
In addition, the breakfast was nice (proper coffee!) and you could also order delicious lunch and dinner.

The hotel staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. The hotel and the room are in perfect condition, with a pool available too. The location is also in a very accessible location - close to the airport, not far from other parts of Accra and able to access the motorway to the wider region.

Great breakfast, REAL coffee in French Press and delicious cuisine in general, especially fresh fish with banku.
In general, I have visited many resorts in the close Busua area (as well as many other resorts in Ghana), but Afro Beach is genuinely something completely different. It is a unique combination of place (calm, quiet, untouched), housing (new and done thoughtfully with a passion), and personal (especially the owner - Francis - who is one of the most interesting people I have met). His motto (that he wants people to be happy) is not just a phrase. He can provide anything you want, also walking with you to a party in Busua or to Butre and so on and so forth.
So, don't hesitate to visit Afro Beach; even Francis' story and personality are entirely worthy of doing so.

Loved this place, if I come back to Accra, I am staying here 100%! Sure the location was nice, close to restaurants, the room was huge and had nice AC, all the amenities, good wifi, but what made this stay special was how helpful Francis was. I left early in the morning, wanted to leave a bag, none was there, but took a leap of faith and left it in the reception. It was safe and secure, waiting for me when I came back next day. I wanted to find a taxi to Togo border, he arranged one with reasonable cost very efficiently.
