In the heart of Gibraltar town, The Eliott Hotel has 2 restaurants and a fitness centre. The stylish hotel features a rooftop pool and terrace, offering views over the Gibraltar Strait. Check-in was smooth but a little rushed as many guests were arriving at the same time. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the room we originally booked due to a system error, but these things can happen. The manager wasn’t available at that moment, so we decided to leave it for later. The Pool Bar was amazing. Nathan greeted us straight away, offered us a great selection of drinks, and really looked after us. He’s such a lively young man who made us forget about the check-in issues altogether—it’s just a shame he wasn’t there throughout our whole stay. Our room was nice, although the view was of the air conditioning units, which made it a bit noisy. However, once the doors were closed and the AC was on, it wasn’t a problem. Later in the evening, we went back to Reception and met Cedar, who was very polite and professional. She carefully noted down our concerns. Shortly afterwards, the manager, Dominik, came out to speak with us. He was extremely apologetic, listened carefully, and resolved everything quickly and professionally. Overall, while our stay started with a few hiccups, the staff namely Nathan, Cedar and Dominik truly made the difference. Their friendliness and professionalism turned it into a very positive experience. Credit to all staff and we will be back
