Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Excellent hotel! Well worth the price! Very beautiful scenic view with a nice trail. Hot tub was also great.

The location right next to the Geysir made this Hotel perfect for a stay during our 3 day stopover in Iceland. However, once on site - the hotel exceeded our expectations! The spacious architecture of the building is very impressive with a very stylish nordic interior design. The room was nice and had a very comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - do not forget to try the Geysir Bread! The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. A big tanks to Georgiana who helped me get back my scarf that I forgot in the room. Wished we could have stayed there longer.
