Very well located hotel in the vicinity of Lake Myvatn. The view was very nice and staff of the hotel were very helpful and friendly all the time. Satisfying breakfast as well.

The staff were super friendly, especially the nice woman working the night shift, she shared great insight on how to view the northern lights. Walking distance from Geysir and we was the beautiful aurora there! I just rebooked because we had to come back before going home!!

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Excellent hotel! Well worth the price! Very beautiful scenic view with a nice trail. Hot tub was also great.
