Everything about this hotel was exceptional from the location to the beautiful interiors to the spacious and comfortable rooms, the most delicious breakfasts and dinners but especially the most lovely family that are always there to help with any requests we had. The shuttle service was very helpful and so was the proximity to the beach. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you Luigi, Sandra, Federico, Daniela and Alessia and the team. We had the best stay and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful location and surrounding areas. Claudio was an exceptional host and gave lovely recommendations and told us about the history of the area. Went above and beyond for us. From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted. The surrounding villages, rolling hills, lush nature, and fragrant orange trees created a dreamlike backdrop that felt straight out of a painting. La Monastica is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The resort is like a secret garden unfolding across different levels—each terrace revealing new corners of serenity, from elegant pools to peaceful towers and cozy nooks perfect for unwinding while taking in the breathtaking views. The staff—Michela, Elena, Paola, and the entire team—embody true hospitality. Their attentiveness, warmth, and kindness are something truly rare and unforgettable. They made our stay not just comfortable, but genuinely heartwarming. The spa is a haven in itself. From the soothing massages to the jacuzzis enhanced with facial masks, every detail is crafted to melt away stress and wrap you in calm. The atmosphere is luxurious yet grounding—pure bliss. Devoti Restaurant deserves its own standing ovation. Set within a beautifully restored old church, the ambiance alone is magical. But the food—every single dish—was a revelation. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. The kind of dining experience you’ll tell stories about for years to come. And the breakfast? Absolutely divine. Every morning felt like a celebration—so fresh, so flavorful, so perfectly done. Truly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Visiting La Monastica was a dream come true. Borgo dei Gatti in Golferenzo is a magical place to relax and to experience all the joys of the Italian countryside along with a lovely spa. There is a cat who welcomed us and visited each morning and evening. Paola, the hostess, is a gem of a soul— so thoughtful and sweet and charming! The daily breakfast in a basket is a feast! The pool has a lovely view. The various places to eat are splendid. It is a quiet, relaxing and rejuvenating experience to stay there. It’s location is off the beaten track, yet just 1/2 from the train station, where they picked us up. As an American, I loved every charming detail— all very reasonably priced for an absolutely splendid experience! I would give it 20 stars or more!

Everything One of the best places I’ve stayed in The world. Very unique experience. We actually stayed in the castle, it was fantastic. The owners are extremely sweet and helpful. It was a night to remember. The dinner was fantastic. The tour around the castle. The rooms were perfect, unforgettable! Very very highly recommended

I loveeed this place. It was kind of magical. Since it is locating in the middle of the island everywhere was reachable and reception helped me a lot with taxi arrangements. I really recommend this place not just because the place itself was amazing but everyone who are working here are very kind, helpful and genuine. They even prepared a breakfast bag and left it the night before since i was leaving early in the morning. Thank you everyone especially Nadia😊 hope to stay there again.

What a peaceful place to stay. The two women that run this property are very hard working and assure that your stay is comfortable. Had a beautiful view of the sunrise every morning. This is a great place to stay… only an hour from Rome, but far away enough to avoid the crowd.. Also, I’ve been in Italy for 3 weeks now, and their home cooked meal for lunch and dinner was the best food I’ve had in Italy so far.
