Great relaxing place e in the desert. It is clean, calm, good Wifi, nice pool.

It was special experience, like being on Mars. All the staff was very helpful, kind and professional. I strongly recomend stay at Essa.

The location is perfect - not too close to city and not too far deal in the desert. The welcoming of the hosts is amazing, they make sure we have all we need. Stargazing session after dinner and chat altogether made our evening very pleasant and our daughter of 2,5 YO enjoyed it so much.

This hotel is rather a villa which is perfect for families or groups of friends. Playground and self-catering facilities are very good and the owner / staff are more than helpful. Spectacular surroundings.

The room was beautiful and super comfortable, with everything we needed. We received such a warm welcome; we honestly felt more at home than in a hotel. Communication was great, and the breakfast was spectacular. For the price, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. In terms of value for money, I’d say it’s the best option in Muscat. It’s also close to most main attractions

Emaad and Zaheed made our stay amazing and their hospitality was the best. The setting was fantastic and such a special stay in the desert. We had a great meal in the evening and it was nice waking up in the desert. I recommend this stay.

A Truly Authentic and Unforgettable Stay at Koofan Heritage Hotel in Salalah! I had the pleasure of staying at Koofan Heritage Hotel during my recent trip to Salalah, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my journey. From the moment I stepped in, I felt immersed in the warmth of Omani culture and heritage. The atmosphere of the hotel is deeply authentic, and it offers a unique sense of peace and comfort that is hard to describe but impossible to forget. The quality of sleep was exceptional , the room was calm, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the natural surroundings made it feel like I was in a serene oasis away from the modern world. The subtle fragrance of natural materials like clay, Luban, wood, and stone gave the space a grounding and peaceful aroma that made me feel instantly at home. It’s rare to find a place where the building itself tells a story, and at Koofan, every wall, texture, and scent speaks of tradition and harmony with nature. A special thanks goes to Mr. Chouaib, whose hospitality, professionalism, and genuine kindness made my stay even more memorable. The entire staff was attentive and welcoming, but Mr. Chouaib truly stood out for his story telling with a personal touch and dedication. Without a doubt, I will reconsider Koofan Heritage Hotel for my next trip to Salalah. If you’re sick from star hotels experiences like myself! Go for it and thank me later!

The hotel is very luxury and beautiful. Very clean and huge rooms (we had an apartment).

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived late but we were upgraded to a bigger room - the baby crib was already there and prepared, and they set up an extra bed fairly quickly and nicely immedietly after being requested, and they also gave us late check-out without being so stingy and pushy about it. The place was also clean and very well-maintained. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, everything worked. We even let our 8 month old crawl in the bedroom, as a testment of how we felt about the cleanliness of the hotel. There was a children's play room, which had a summer camp ongoing, so we left our daughter to play there with a lot of kids for a few hours and it was super safe, engaging, and fantastic for her, absolutely wonderful. Facilities are top notch for the price we paid, including gym, pool, etc, and a great executive lounge at the top floor, which had snacks, fruits, and refreshments. The place felt lively and joyful, it is unfortionate we were staying for only one night.

Nice hotel, we spent there 2 nights on our travel across Oman. It is expected 3 star hotel. The staff is helpful, breakfast is ordinary. The room was a bit dark, but we were there only to sleep, it was ok.
