I stayed at the Hotel Grof for 3 day biking holiday. We loved three things about this property:
A) the food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. the yogurt was from a local farm. prices were nearly half of what you get at a similar hotel in Ljubljana
B) the rooms and facilities were top notch. clean and modern. they have some nice stylistic touches in the rooms, dining areas and even some hidden gems throughout the property.
C) we did three days of cycling. the hotel is a perfect launch point for Biking adventures. Matic, the biking guru, helped us greatly by making customized routes, dispensing advice and even led us through the Logarska Dolina with explainations that made it definitely worth the effort. an amazing experience.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The stuff very friendly, and helpful. The room is good, the bed is comfy, the toilet and shower very nice. The toiletries perfect. the interior of the hotel is modern and nice. I liked the bar and the restaurant with roses. The coffee is excellent.

The breakfast was fabulous. The dining room is so nice with the view of the river. The food was wonderful and there was way more than we could all eat. My grandparents owned the castle and it was in the family until the recent sale and renovation. It was amazing to be in the castle and the small village of Vinica. I would love to return some day.

We liked the staff the most! Extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you ladies for the outstanding hospitality! Your suggestion of local sites helped us to make the most out of our short stay. The hotel has the perfect location, the Vintgar Gorge is just a few minutes of walking. Spacious room, big windows with gorgeous view over the mountains. The welcome fruit basket and chocolate was a nice touch! …We loved our stay at AMS Beagle and highly recommend it!

Best of the best. A fantastic evening staying at a comfortable room. Michelin star dinner were definitely the highlight of our stay and breakfast were equally great. This is a nice garden around and surrounding view is beautiful.
