Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Mary's Boon Beach Plantation Resort & Spa is located right on the beach in Simpson Bay. The staff was great. The room was clean. Restaurant was fantastic and the beach was perfect. All white sand. Would go back again. A+++++

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Nicely decorated, a large room with two comfortable double beds. We had a sea view room with a good-sized balcony overlooking the beach. The bathroom is big and well laid out. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and assisted us with wheelchair and car parking. Coffee and tea facilities in the room, daily supply and extra on request including mineral water. High quality toiletries. A free sunlounger, parasol and beach towel. A great lively bar and very good restaurant. Location right at the bay. A trustworthy taxi driver, Mathilde, who also does island tours. During the day the town is lively with all the tourists from the cruise ships but after 6.00 shops, restaurants and bars close with very few exceptions. To have an alternative for the hotel restaurant a taxi or car needs to be taken. In addition to the restaurant in the hotel, we can recommend Emilio's which is relatively close but not really walking distance.

Baker's Suites is located in Simpson Bay, steps from the beach, and 5 minutes’ drive from Princess Juliana International Airport. Free WiFi access is available. I loved everything.. the staff were amazing and Latoya THE BEST. What a wonderful service-minded person.

Carl's Unique Inn & Conference Facilities is a 5-minute drive from Kim Sha Beach, and offers views over Simpson Bay Lagoon and the island’s green hills. The location was reachable to wherever you may want to go. There is a bus stop at the road head which takes you to both Philipsburg and Marigot on the French side. I used the bus to visit all the areas and places I wanted to see only for $2 for each journey, and you get to blend in so well with the locals. They are open for a good chat. Everyone says good morning and good afternoon as you pass them. There are so many things I can talk about but space to write here is limited. Overall, the Island is very beautiful and worth the visit. I would go back and stay again at Carl's Unique Inn. The owner is a very nice gentleman, very mannerly and approachable, always ready to assist. The best breakfast ever, freshly made sandwiches each morning upon your request. The Island is hilly and I loved it because walking up and down the hills naturally did good for my heart and body each day. Very wonderful beaches. Also, while on the island, you need to visit the nearby islands too.
