The staff was fantastic at making us feel welcome. We got an even nicer room than anticipated. The staff also made sure we could get breakfast despite being very last minute - the breakfast is a la carte and was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and the room felt very private. I stayed here for two nights during a work trip and was delighted by the helpful, polite, and efficient staff, wonderful room with an ocean view, good location and delicious breakfast. Happy surprises were that my room was upgraded for free to an ocean view and the bed was one of the most comfortable in which I have slept -- really exceptional! Breakfast was included with the price of the room and featured delicious fresh tropical fruit and good coffee with hot milk, which felt like a luxury! There is also a kettle in the room with tea and coffee, as well as free toiletries including toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and other items that were all a welcome sight to tired eyes after a long flight! The hotel is in walking distance (20 minutes) to the cathedral, a beautiful neo-Gothic building designed and built by Germans over a century ago and recently restored -- the loveliest building in Togo! The hotel location is also convenient to restaurants on the beach, city transportation, and several Champion supermarkets. I will gladly stay here again and thank the staff for a wonderful stay!
