From the modern familial feel of the stay to the extremely hospital owners and staff, I felt like I was family during my stay. I loved how accessible the hotel was to the main road as well as its proximity to the airport. Additionally, the King sized room I stayed in was smaller than I thought, but it was recently renovated and very clean- I was happy about that! One of the best parts was the door to door service from the airport to the hotel by the owner. My departing flight was at 2:00AM, but he still drove me and made sure I made it on time. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and healthy, and I really enjoyed getting to sit outside in the courtyard to eat, do work, or chat with other guests. As an American citizen with Iranian heritage, I felt safe, well cared after, and happy at the Soro Hotel. I recommend it to all!

Sarazm Plaza is a 3-star property situated in Panjakent. The hotel offers a buffet or à la carte breakfast. The location was very convenient, and the level of service was quite acceptable. The administrator Mehradzhiddin and his brother did their best to meet all the needs and requests, always willing to accommodate and help in any situation. A good option for returning to civilization after mountain treks.

Featuring free WiFi, an indoor pool, Hotel Atlas offers accommodation in Dushanbe, 1.3 km from Dushanbe Cable Car. Every room has a flat-screen TV. Great location. Excellent rooms that are clean and cozy. Nice and kind supportive staff. Even if it was very early in the morning, they kindly arranged a transport for me to the airport. This will be my top option when staying in Dushanbe.

Set in Khorog, Pamir Alibaba Hotel provides a garden. With free bikes, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Fantastic place a 10-min ride from the center of Khorog. Joseph was an incredibly pleasant host. Very knowledgeable about the region and easy to talk to. The room was clean and spacious, the hot shower soothing after days on dusty mountain roads, and the breakfast was great. There’s a nice outdoor seating / dining area for use during the warmer months. You can easily get a taxi into the center of town for a few bucks and the part of the town near the hotel is very quiet. If I ever make it back this direction, I will be sure to stay here again.

Hotel SUGD & Guest House provides accommodation in Panjakent. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. Maqsud is an incredible host, no request is too much and he went above and beyond on all aspects and arranged an excellent driver for a day trip to the seven lakes at a really fair price. We had an issue with border crossing back to Uzbekistan and he called ahead for us to check and arranged another excellent driver to get us there. The hotel was modern with AC and excellent breakfast with delicious halva and good coffee!
