Wyndham Sun Moon Lake is located in Yuchi, in the Sun Moon Lake district. This 5-star hotel offers a kids' club, room service and free WiFi. I look everything about this hotel ! I regretted that we only stayed for 1 night 😢. Should have stayed for more nights !! Starting from the free shuttle bus from Taichung HSR Station , the friendly and approachable staff ,the huge, modern and clean room overlooking the lake , the room onsen and the hotel onsen and sauna, the restaurant ( Shao Chinese restaurant - the hotel is so kind to provide my daughter the complimentary ‘longevity peach ‘ for desert for her birthday ) and the location which is literally only 2 mins walk to the Ita Shao shopping street where you can grab all sorts of food and things . We love this hotel so much that we are already booking another trip next year to stay for a few nights !

Located in Taichung, within less than 1 km of Fengjia Night Market and 5.5 km of Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store, Hotel Euphemia offers a bar. Hotel euphemia was excellent - room was spacious, clean, it had a couch and three small tables, bed was soft, two pillows per person with a good comforter, and it's toilet and bath was spacious and clean. WiFi was fast enough for mobile gaming. It also provided toiletries, snacks, and drinks for free (+ alcoholic welcome drinks from the bar). The TV had streaming and local cable so we enjoyed since we got to watch their sports channels. Their staff is friendly and the location is close to the night market but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful. You can take a quick walk to mcdonald's or 7-11 if you want a fast meal. It is also close enough to the HSR station so the uber was cheap and the bus ride was short. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in taichung.

Situated in Jiaoxi, 1.4 km from Jiaoxi Railway Station, Orient Luxury Hotel-Jiaoxi features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Values for money. Breakfast buffet was good. The hotel quite new and spacious. Nice onsen inside the room suitable for parent who bring kids. Remember to bring swimsuits if plan to go outdoor swimming pool.

In a prime location in the West District district of Taichung, Spring Rhapsody Hotel is situated 2.4 km from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of Malaysian/ Singaporean style food. The Thai squid and prawn was amazing
