The property is literally amazing! We felt sooo welcome and the owners care a lot about their guests. It is so personal, like a small family. The food is also fantastic. We will definitely come back again! Thank you so much!

Really nice staff and owner, you feel part of the family immediately. Fantastic breakfast, changed everyday 🙂 the bungalow had everything u need and it’s not noisy so you can get a good rest. I did not use the pool but it looked super nice as well.

*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.

Absolutely everything, the pool, the setting, no too busy (20 rooms), the room, the people, the food is amazing

I have been living in Tanzania for a year, and I have never received such a warm and genuine welcome. The staff at Pangani Cliffs Lodge make you feel at home in the smallest details: your name beautifully written on the welcome board at reception, their readiness to meet any need, their kindness, and the care they put into every little thing. Everything was simply outstanding. The lodge is set in the heart of nature, with direct access to both a beautiful pool and an unspoiled beach. The food is delicious, the cleanliness is impeccable, and every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed. I had mentioned to the staff that it would be my husband’s birthday and simply asked for a small candle. Instead, they surprised us with heartfelt birthday songs from the entire team and a personalized cake—such a touching and unforgettable gesture. From the breathtaking views to the warm smiles that greet you every day, Pangani Cliffs Lodge is truly a piece of paradise. We left with our hearts full, and I sincerely hope to return soon.

Everything was excellent, as soon as I’ve crossed the gate to African Bungalow’s, I knew this bungalows have something special. Firstly I came across the owner and I’ve already felt extremely welcomed and well taken care of. All staff working there is super nice, helpful, kind and smiley. Rooms are spacious, very clean, all of them have terrace. Mine specially had pool view (if I’m not mistaken all of them are in front of the pool), so you can enter the pool straight from your terrace which is great. Fact that bungalows have pool is amazing as it gives you a chance to rest a bit from sometimes busy beach around. Walk to the beach is like 2 minutes which is huge advantage of that place also. In general location is perfect. Breakfast is excellent. Amenities in the room are great, AC works perfectly! I’m really grateful to come across this bungalows as it gave me lovely memories! I can highly recommend this place and I promise, you don’t regret staying there. I’m sure I will come back here next time :)

The stay is very comfortable and staff is extremely friendly. They even added a special birthday cake when they realised it’s my birthday. Great service, very close to beaches and other attractions.

I recently stayed at this lovely little hotel, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Il-Ham, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She welcomed us with a smile, gave us a tour of the room, and made sure we felt right at home. The hotel itself is a peaceful and charming retreat, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was impeccably clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional – the romantic touch of a heart-shaped decoration and beautifully crafted towel swans on the bed made the experience truly special. The bathroom was equally well-prepared, with thoughtful amenities including toothbrushes and toothpaste, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The meals were another highlight of our visit. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and generously portioned. Every dish was prepared with love, and we left the table each time feeling more than satisfied. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate, and delightful place to stay, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The personalized service, the beautiful ambiance, and the thoughtful details made our stay unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The ambience of the property is relaxing

nice, new and clean. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place has only two bungalows that made this place unique for a relaxing stay. We did daily dives with the team that was very helpful and took us to some great places. the food was excellent and highly recommend. We hope to come back soon! big thanks to Gianna and the team.

The hotel itself is very nice and it feels homely since there are only a couple of rooms. We ate most of our delicious meals on our own porch, which was nice.They even had gluten free pasta which my girlfriend was very grateful for. The room was very clean and the plants/the beach on the hotel grounds is well maintained. Strongly recommend this hotel for a few days of relaxation.
