A huge room with a mirador to the lake. The staff was extremely helpful. The lobby was furnitured for the guests who are waiting for the tourist-buses. The garden party for the guests was not only intimate but it makes the guest friend. The breakfast was so rich, like in a baronial castle. They have their own beer !

The facility was new and spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of outlets, closet space, a large bathroom with an excellent hot shower. The window opening enabled a nice breeze. The breakfast offered lots of options, especially baked goods, juices, and coffee. The bar, lobby and lounge areas were comfortable for sitting. The hotel staff were both welcoming and accommodating with all our requests including storage over two nights between stays while we made a three day trip to El Chaten. We highly recommend this hotel, which is just a ten minute walk to the bus terminal.

Los Ponchos Hotel is located just 2 km from central El Calafate. Its warm rooms feature Hispanic-American art and views of Lake Argentino.
