Stepping into Palais Porcia felt like entering a museum - ornate décor, classical paintings, and antique furniture everywhere. The location couldn’t be better, right on Neuer Platz. If you like grand old hotels with a story, this one’s for you. It’s not sleek or modern, but it makes up for it with personality and charm. Perfect location for exploring Klagenfurt on foot. The hotel staff was very helpful and the front desk team member was extremely courteous, recommended us a great dinner option near by (Uni.Wirt. restaurant), upon our late arrival. We saw that the hotel restaurant (reservations are recommended) and hotel bar are also very popular and a must try next time we are here. Our rooms were very comfortable, highly recommend the deluxe suite which includes a large bathtub in the very spacious room.

Location!! A lovely 8-10 minute walk to/from the train station. Wonderfully situated on the lake promenade and also quick access to shops and restaurants. Nice spa and indoor pool. Great breakfast spread. Relaxing courtyard. Private water front lounge chairs. Very comfortable room. Woman at reception desk was very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was beautiful, had several sauna options and the infinity pool was amazing. The snow room was very unique! The bar tenders, especially Louis, were top notch and would come back to that hotel for them specially. Golf course discounts were an added bonus.
