Hidden gem in Rio. Amazing view. Monkeys once in a while visit and they’re very peaceful. The strength of this beautiful place is in its owners who are like uncles to you. They know everything about the city and it’s nice to learn from them and to hear about their story. While also maintaining your privacy. Breakfast is marvelous and dressed up with sense of style. This adds an extra dimension to your stay! We have never have experienced such personal care like that in a commercial stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Novotel RJ Santos hotel. Without exception all of the staff made us feel very welcome. We don’t speak Portuguese but everyone made a great effort to either speak English to us or to understand what we wanted. We had breakfast and our evening meals at the hotel every day and both were exceptional. The food was delicious and great value for money. Our room was spotlessly clean. If we go to Rio de Janeiro again we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel.

This first lane Gorgeous Hotel is ABSOLUTELY worth this money! My best recommendation is obviously to take a suit with the balcony and with the front ocean view. Believe me, it's worth every penny you spend)) The personnel in the hotel is a super nice, really helpful and carrying) The gesture with a cold champagne glass during the checking in is also a nice gesture, which is not provided even in a more expensive hotels!! The Pool area gives you a panoramic view on a whole COPACABANA area and even on a Jesus Christ) And what is my personal favourite - it's a cozy clean GYM at the top of the Hotel! You can do your cardio or any other routine enjoying the ocean , waves, Rio it's absolutely blasting!!! In the gym you can find towels, water and even 2 types of fresh apples :))) that's so cute and nice) PS. the breakfasts are also great, cold Prosecco, big variety of fruits, salmon)) what else you need))) So, my conclusion is that the money/quality ratio is a superb! Good luck to the PortoBay Hotel Team, Great Job!

we loved to stay in this beautiful place it has beautiful scenery, with both view of the whole city and the garden, the garden is eqiupped with a jacuzzi, pool table and lounge, the room was clean and modern, the view from balcony was amazing, we also enjoyed a lovely breakfast, it is a couple of minutes walk to the pretty square in santa teresa
