I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel by the Yulong River! The rooftop offers breathtaking panoramic views of the river and surrounding mountains, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunset. The ground floor exudes traditional Chinese charm with its antique decor and intricate designs, creating a unique cultural ambiance. In contrast, the rooms are a haven of comfort, blending modern amenities seamlessly with a cozy aesthetic. Plush beds, sleek furnishings, and large windows provide a serene retreat while allowing me to soak in the stunning natural scenery. Whether you're seeking tranquility or beauty, this hotel delivers an exceptional experience. I can't wait to return.

This was by far one of the best hotels we stayed at in China. Tucked away in the lush and peaceful landscape, a beautifully restored courtyard with clean and comfortable rooms as well as delicious food (both Chinese and Western). The English-speaking staff was very helpful and assisted with pick-up from Guilin train station, bike rental, sunrise trip to Xianggong mountain etc. There are a few cafés and restaurants around, but no shops. The busy (and somewhat touristy) Yangshuo city center is a 10km bike or taxi ride away. However, we deliberatly opted for mostly staying around the hotel, walking along the river and through the hills. Would definetly recommend!
