Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.

We liked the breakfast, the room was very nice. We would like to thanks again to the hotel for the changing of the dates of our stay. There is 24/7 reception which was needed for us as we arrived after midnight.

The staff were very nice and professional even though I am an English speaker they communicated in fluent English which helped a lot. The room was incredibly clean and well presented, as were the facilities in the room. The breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted amazing.

Friendly staff, fantastic service, amazing breakfast, great location, and a very nice restaurant with a lovely view. The hotel looks like from a fairytale. We were back to 19 century. Room was clean big, stylish. Breakfast was testy. The place is very nice. I wish we will back some days.

Quiet area, very good and varied breakfast. The dining room with a beautiful view on the bay. The staff were very helpful. I was visiting the place during its renovation, but it did not interfere with my stay.
