Everything! Sonia, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the hotel. She was professional, warm, helpful and pro active in helping us with information and bookings. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored. Breakfast was served in the lovely courtyard upstairs. Freshly made biscuits everyday was a treat. Every part of the hotel made you feel at home. The hotel is a great mixture of an old refurbished city house, with a nice contemporary addition. Everything is decorated with taste and feels very homely. The common areas (indoors and outdoors) are great if you just want to hang out after a long day out and browse through the nice library. The hotel is located in a nice and lively city from where you'll easily reach all the point of interest of the rest of the island. The room itself was well equipped, very quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. Now, the main feat of the hotel is not the hotel itself but its host. Ignasi has been very welcoming, helpful in his suggestions for food, walks and shops to check out, and always had stories on the history of Menorca. Overall he just has a contagious love for Menorca, its history and its people. Definitely would recommend to anyone seeking a homely, warm and friendly place to stay in Menorca to give a go to Ses sucreres (especially if you can go off season). It was my first time in Menorca and Ignasi's hotel, and I'm looking forward to coming back for my next retreat.

Recently renovated, the Hotel has 9 hectares of gardens and vineyards where you will enjoy a large swimming pool with a wooden deck equipped with a pool bar where you can rest and sunbathe.
