It was a real pleasure to stay in such a lovely guest house. Alberto is a very friendly and helpful host; he made sure our stay was comfortable and we had all the information we needed to enjoy Sanlucar. The room is beautiful; we really appreciated the charming, relaxing decor and all the homely touches, and having a private patio was wonderful. We hope to stay again.

Sanlucar de Barrameda is a charming historic town off the regular tourist route except for sherry afficionados or nature lovers due to the national park nearby. Dubbed the culinary capital of Spain for 2022, its profile is a bit more elevated. This little boutique hotel meets the raised profile of the town and is a beautifully designed renovation of a historic building. The grounds are lovely with a swimming pool in the courtyard, and the rooms are spacious, clean, with excellent bathrooms.

Alegría Bodega Real is a beautiful caracteristic building, it's a nice experience just to be there. The room was wide and nice, the bed was good, and the breakfast outstanding. But the main experience is the way you are treated as a guest. The staff is not just friendly, but warm welcoming and pro-active in an impressive way. Travelling through Andalusia we did not feel as spoiled as we were in Alegría Bodega Real. It's way more luxury then you would expect for the price you pay. Thanks fantastic staff, you made our stay a very great one!
