The rooms are around a lovely courtyard garden presumably the cloisters in the old monastery. The room was very nice the breakfasts great and the owners very helpful. If you want a treat I would recommend. Not cheap but well worth the money if you want a special time in Avignon

An absolutely exceptional establishment (and I don't say that often !) ! Spacious rooms that are hard to find in France & in this price rage. The indoor pool & sauna were the most perfect temperature. A beautiful place to relax.

Reception staff were really friendly, the facilities were great including gym and games. We were really happy with the great quality of the breakfast!

Very clean, very good ambiance, swimming pool open year round, very nice breakfast, staff is very polite and always ready to help. Baggage storage is great - staff helped with our bags and we could roam the city worry free , room was very comfortable, very nice soaps fully stocked in the room unlike other hotels, Great location next to train station, I would go there again just for the breakfast in which everything was well prepared and efficiently laid out.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. I got upgraded to one of the most amazing suites at no extra cost. The breakfast was really good. And the staff was very friendly.

The hotel du Palais des Papes is located in Avignon, in front of the Pope Palace. It stands on 3 floors and benefits from a completely pedestrian area.

Hôtel La Suite is an auberge-style, owner-operated hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary rustic style, complemented by a collection of contemporary art throughout the property. Rooms come with modern bathrooms, a fully stocked minibar, and reliable air conditioning — nice touches that make the stay more comfortable. The hotel is car-friendly, with parking for six cars at the rear and a convenient bag drop-off at the front. Breakfast is tasty, though it’s just as easy to eat out in the town. There’s also a small bar, which closes at 8pm; for later drinks, the town centre is nearby. Directly opposite is a former Carthusian Monastery, now a museum and art centre — definitely worth a visit. The location is excellent: not in the bustle of Avignon’s centre, but in a charming town just a 30-minute walk away. The town has a good choice of restaurants, bars, and antique shops, though it may feel a little quiet if you’re after lively nightlife. No photos to share, but overall, I can highly recommend Hôtel La Suite and would happily stay again.

This is a stunning old Provence style of building with a genius loci beyond description. The location is so beautiful too. If you prefer the slow tourism way, this is the place to be! Just forget about crowded Avignon, Villeneuve is gorgeous, maybe even nicer than Avignon, more quiet and within walking (or few minutes with public transport) distance from Avignon. The hotel is old in the nicest way, you cannot expect a polished Hilton style, which is actually a part of the value, it is clean, with a beautiful old terrace and a superb service. The staff is friendly, welcoming, the breakfast local. I just loved the place so much!
