The location of Villa Lara was perfect! There were several restaurants and historic landmarks within easy walking distance. The staff was incredible. The owner took us on a tour of the city which was the highlight of our trip. The hotel is also in a perfect location to meet tour companies for the Normandy WWII tours. Outstanding stay!

Excellent choice for breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries , jams, cheeses , charcuterie, good coffee and deliciously light and tasty scrambled eggs and bacon. Location for breakfast in a beautifully decorated original wood panelled room looking out on the picturesque garden. The hotel is so near to many cafes, shops and restaurants and the museums and cathedral. We were delighted to emerge on Saturday morning into the colour and bustle of the weekly market in Place St Patrice just beside the hotel.

Located 800 metres from central Bayeux and its cathedral, this 18th-century mansion offers guest rooms and a traditional restaurant open for dinner upon reservation.

It was a beautiful property with a lovely garden, pool and the apartment was beautifully appointed and spacious. It was perfect for my son and me but could have accommodated 2 couples easily. The staff was helpful and so kind!

We thorougly enjoyed our stay! Severine and her mother Francoise were wonderful hosts. The house was lovely both inside and out. Our room had a small balcony which had a great view of the Notre Dame Cathedral Bayeau. We had a small sitting area with a coffee/tea pot. The room it's self was quite large. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also large with a good shower. We were one floor up from the main entrance. There is no elevator. The house is decorated very nicely. The breakfast area was roomy with one large table that seats 6-8 people. There was a small room for additional guests. Breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, fruit and cheeses. There was room on the property for parking for 3 cars. The location of the house was great. We walked around town and to restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a fabulous two night stay at this beautiful guesthouse. The owners were so kind and welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The room was gorgeous and the bathroom was spotless. We appreciated the fan in the room to cool down the warm evening, but we left the windows open as well to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The property is lovely, and we spent an hour or two in the garden, enjoying the flowers. We were very well located between Bayeux and the local beaches, making it a perfect spot for touring.
