Le Clos de la Chesneraie is such a charming place to stay. We were given a warm welcome, our spacious room was most tastefully decorated in period style, the bed was very comfortable and the property had a delightful aura to it. A lovely, varied breakfast was served in such a pretty and gracious breakfast room. Le Clos is very ideally situated to many of the best known Loire Valley castles. A beautiful, romantic and highly recommended accommodation.

The Chateau des Arpentis is located in the Loire Valley, in a 30-hectare park. The chateau offers rooms with views over the park and free Wi-Fi internet access.

We stayed in the L'Orangerie room. We had an exceptional stay! Our room overlooked the pasture of 2 beautiful grazing horses. The apartment was clean, beautiful and peaceful.

Checking in was OK as we were too late for reception but we managed to find the 'house' that was to be our home for 10 days or so. On arrival we found that our room was an upper floor apartment and I have difficulty climbing stairs. However we managed and contacted reception next morning who arranged to move us to lower floor. As I had coped the previous night we decided to stay where we were but staff advised we could change if it became too much, Having a balcony was fantastic for watching the sun go down at night. It was close enough to local facilities for groceries and sightseeing trips with the Mini Chateaux on the doorstep.

Château de Nazelles Amboise is a guest house set in a 16th-century manor. Part of the Chateaux-de-la-Loire region, it features an outdoor swimming pool enclosed by original stone walls.

What’s not to like about staying in a 500 year old castle? Wonderful view from our castle window, beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau, warm and welcoming staff and close to all the major chateaux and the beautiful town of Amboise.

This manor is located near the Château d'Amboise. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool with a terrace and sun beds.

We specifically wanted peace and quiet which we had. We also looked forward to eating nice food which we found to be exceptionally well made. The evening meal we enjoyed was a highlight of our time there. The breakfast buffet was well worth having.

A 10-minute walk from Amboise Castle, this bed and breakfast is set in an original, 15th-century quarry and is carved out of the rock.

Cracking little find on Booking.com. Little bit of a walk into town for a meal on the night but very safe area. Need to stay to experience the full affect on the facilities. Highly recommend.

The Pavillon des Lys is a private mansion built in 1703, transformed into a charming 4-star hotel in 2004. Some of our rooms are independent, located on the ground floor of the establishment.

Enormous size of the room, beautiful gardens, delicious breakfast in a gorgeous dining room, super helpful and friendly staff (Olivier was amazing), perfect location.
