We loved everything from the moment we arrived. Ease of parking, the room with a sea view and the fantastic warm seawater outdoor pool. We booked a table in the restaurant for evening meal and we’re not disappointed. All in all it’s a superb hotel.

Boasting a garden and a terrace, La Glycine is situated in Bénouville, on the Normandy coast. 500 metres from Pegasus Bridge, the hotel offers a shared lounge and a bar.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The two owners went over & above helping us in every possible way. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was fantastic. The parking right next to the hotel was super convenient. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast spread. Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend!

The hotel overlooks the beach with the most fabulous views of the sunset. The room had a view through the Juliet balcony and out to sea from both the bed and the en suite - a lovely touch. Free parking across the street.

Ivan Vautier is a 5-star hotel with a gastronomic restaurant, a tea room and a spa available on reservation for a one hour with an extra cost offering a hammam, sauna and body treatments.

The staff was phenomenal, especially Julia. Unfortunately we were not able to dine at their Michelin star restaurant because we were in for Dday and visiting other areas nearby. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean and I wished we had more time to relax, enjoy our stay and time in the city. Regardless, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here.

The Novotel Caen Côte de Nacre is located 20 minutes from the beaches of the Allied Landings, near the Peace Memorial. It offers a heated outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a garden.

The Novotal had suffered a major water leak and were unable to check us in on arrival, whilst they awaited repairs as they had no water at all. They had provided an alternative at their nearby Mercure Hotel, which we found excellent, recently refurbished, very nice rooms and a great breakfast. The managed this difficult situation exceptionally well.
