Nice hotel, out of town, but close to highway and train station. Welcoming staff. Good restaurant to book in advance. Free and secure parking. The room is not quite new but spacious and clean.

This is our second stay at this pleasant hotel a very quiet location a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Valence. Parking directly behind the hotel is secure and convenient, the staff are welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable with tea, coffee and water in a fridge. Breakfast is simple, tasty, and well organised in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. We will stay here again.

Valence is our yearly stop on our way from Barcelona to Switzerland. We have stayed in several hotels, but this one checks all the boxes so we have stayed at Hotel de France for several years now. They are always pleasant and attentive and welcome our labrador retriever, so that's a big bonus. ... This year they had a change in management so, while a few bumps in communication at first, we left happy. Good to see the new management is keen to maintain the quality.
