The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Saumur off of Place Saint Pierre. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. Regis and the staff are all lovely, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety and homemade treats!

The location just outside Saumur was very convenient. When approaching the hotel through the narrow alley the excitement increases. The reception by the staff was great and very friendly. The room decoration is very creative, yet completely functional. The cave swimming pool is simply fantastic. We drank the 1/2 bottle of complimentary wine on the terrace in front of the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in Bourgueil. Dominique is a great host, and the apartment was exactly as shown and described, very clean and comfortable. Being able to share meals in the kitchen and courtyard was an added bonus, enabling us to meet fellow travellers. Bourgueil is a great base to explore the delights of the Loire region.
