A wonderful experience, a charming hotel with a delicious breakfast and beautiful decor. We were on the top floor, and although there are some stairs to climb, it's worth it for the window that allows you to sleep between the moors and the stars. The staff was charming and communicative; they let us in a little early and were very kind, recommending places to visit. I hope we can come back someday.

All the staff members were amazing and it was a pleasure meeting them. Food was great and the hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable in a beautiful peaceful location. Would highly recommend the Avenue.

Good location handy to the shops, cafes and railway station. Spotless. Comfortable bed with good quality linen. We had a wonderful breakfast pack, it kept us going for quite a while. Josephine the hostess had good hospitality skills and she had plenty of local information.
