I’m a regular customer because the staff are excellent, the place is clean, modern and comfortable while the pub itself is characterful and serves an excellent choice of food and drink. add to that - the setting is idyllic.

A lovely property just outside Newbury with a good bar and restaurant. The room was comfy and the fresh coffee was a bonus. Such a shame we could spend only 1 night here .

Set in the quaint village of Amport, The Hawk Inn serves locally sourced produce on its modern British menu and a selection of ales, fine wines and seasonal cocktails in the bar.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff very accommodating with everyone’s different preferences, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I really enjoyed the little touches (like the lovely biscuits provided each day with the tea and coffee facilities in the room)
