The room was very clean and well put together, and we appreciated the complementary drinks. The location of the hotel, while an approximately 25 minute walk from the train station, was close to the best parts of Southampton. Breakfast was top notch. We stayed in around 8 hotels in this England trip, and this one had one of the best menus for breakfast.

So many things, and it was little touches also, like a slow close toilet seat, divider in the bin for general and recycling, a massive tv and a beautiful tub, I'm only sorry we didn't get to enjoy it for that long as we had quite a late arrival and we were heading to an activity early the next day but we had dinner and breakfast there and it was gorgeous.

A nice young man at the reception is particularly friendly and accommodating. his name is Ovidiu. He takes care of all guests' worries and has a calm and positive way of inspiring people, so they'll want to return. I hope the hotel manager passes on this praise to the staff. The place is very nice and the room was great. Had great beds and a huge bathroom with a great shower. The place is a pub with rooms so obviously the food and drink were great. The breakfast was also amazing with lovely staff that served with a smile. Thank you to all the staff, your friendly and helpfull attitude is amazing and made my day :) If I return to the area this is my first choice to stay again.
