I booked this hotel as a surprise for my mum's 60th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to ensure she and my dad had a memorable stay. The aesthetic nature of the hotel drew us in right from the start. The room were a comfortable bijou size, enough room to get around while encapsulating the pokey nature of old British buildings. The room was well decorated and well lit. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the digital clock on the bedside table was a lovely added touch. The soaps in the bathroom were beautiful and very fragrant. There was a safe provided, free of charge, for valuables. This was located in a roomy wardrobe that also included bathrobes, extra pillows, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. There was an electric heater in the room if needed but we didn't!

Situated in Cirencester town centre, The Fleece at Cirencester is a 300-year old, Grade II listed building boasts original beams and log fires.

Great location - easy access to Cheltenham town centre by bus or car. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated, with a very smart en-suite. A bar fridge, hairdryer and plenty of white fluffy towels were appreciated and the bed was really comfortable. Despite being located on a busy road, the windows are double glazed, so there is no disturbance from traffic. Creative arrangement for people to order take-out food and consume it in the communal sitting/ dining area.
