Excelent. The location, the ambiance, the staff . One real gem. All the little details were there. Outside was raining? The gentelman at the door offers you an umbrella. Our fridge was not working. They changed it at our first word. And the smile, oh, the smile of a staff that is proud of their hotel and their town. You feel really welcome.

The location in York was ideal for the attractions and shops and the room itself was clean and spacious. Huge TV on the wall and a fantastic shower. We took advantage of the luggage storage on our last day as we weren't going home till late afternoon which is a great service to supply to guests . Good selection at breakfast . I definitely recommend the Hampton by Hilton hotels and try to stay in one wherever I go
