The hotel is one of the few cases where my expectations were exceeded. From the moment we entered the hotel and checked in, the reception staff (Mr. Bono and Helena) were extremely friendly, as well as during our stay. This is a great rarity nowadays. In addition, The rooms and bathrooms are large, clean, bright with a great view. Mrs. Paula Loncar, the hotel sales manager, personally asked us several times how our stay was going. The reason we visited Opatija was my mother's 70th birthday. In this regard, on her birthday, she received a large chocolate cake as a compliment from the hotel. The services offered by the hotel were diverse, far from the standard lounges and taxis, such as a boat trip, a tour of the city with a retro car and many other nice and interesting services that one can remember for a lifetime. Well done to everyone, I hope there are more such places not only in Croatia, but why not in Bulgaria as well. I definitely recommend this place, it will leave a great memory in you for a lifetime.

Very nicely renovated 1906 Building with high ceilings throughout. The old grandeur is definitely alive and well here. The architects of the extensive recent renovation have resisted squeezing in more rooms and extra floors keeping the rooms very spacious. Public parking is 50 meters away. The sea view is truly unobstructed from the higher floors.

Located 2 km from the coast and the beaches of Opatija, Heritage Hotel Kukuriku is set in the small historical town of Kastav. It offers free parking and a breakfast buffet.
