This is a very special place not only in terms of Bali but the whole South East Asia. This retreat is the place where you find real peace and quiet. It is created for people who need to unwind. That means that owners make a real effort not to disturb the peace of any of the quests. There is no music at the restaurant, there is no music at the pool, no music in Spa. Instead, you meet nature - the sound of the sea, birds, frogs, streams, and all local fauna and flora including roosters at 5 am :). All maintenance works are done manually, swiping, and cutting grass; nothing noisy is used, which makes this place so unique. Apart from the cleanliness and quality of materials of the Balinese houses, bathrooms, and common places, there are very few guests at the same time. There is also a house pet - a tamed hornbill - that adds to the uniqueness of this place. I need to mention the Villa team - a very warm and caring people! Also, the trips offered here are unique. You can learn how to do Balinese offerings, you can also do cultural trip, go to the real Balinese houses and try to understand their day-to-day. I travel a lot, but there are single places with the soul during the last 2 years of my travel - and this is a gem among them!

Hotel gets in touch with you in order to arrange a transfer (upon a fee), room preparation & welcoming. As you enter the hotel it feels like you’re in a oasis. The jungle and the view is amazing. The staff is very respectful and helpfull! There’s a shuttle service going to center & back 3 times a day. The hotel is a bit far from center but that’s what makes it unique. The breakfast selection is Good. The Spa treatments are fantastic there are different options to choose from. The mani pool area is also beautiful. Our room was gorgeous very comfortable, swimming at the rooms pool with breath taking view was fantastic! Every detail was thought from sarongs to mosquito repellants. My wife enjoyed daily baked cookies left at our room. It’s a beautiful hotel to Relax & unwind. I recommend it 100%!
