The location, facilities and staff were all above and beyond. We loved our stay in Genoa so much, and I believe that a large part of that was because of how much we loved staying in this hotel. It is so close to the city center but is such a lovely, peaceful retreat. The fitness room is well equipped and comfortable and it was a lovely surprise that the pool has resistance jets so that one can swim laps. The room was huge with a large comfortable bathroom and a separate walk-in dressing room. Breakfast was great and everything was wonderful.

Very nice room and very helpful staff. The elevator door was stuck when we were trying to bring our luggage to our room and the staff took care of everything, including bringing the luggage to our room.

This was our second visit (previous visit was in 2019) to the Grand Hotel Savoia. The breakfast lounge has been remodeled with lighter, bright colors. There was a large selection of food items. I seem to remember, though I may be wrong, that there was a dedicated cook for preparing individual egg requests, but I didn't find this a negative. The room was very nice and comfortable. The hotel's location served our needs perfectly, easy access for arriving by car.

Important to mention: super clean. Located on the Piazza San Lorenzo, my favourite in Genova. The cathedral is stunning like the piazza itself. Will definitely come back
