Beautiful property in great location with stunning views from terrace, rooms spaced out amongst the well kept gardens. Private beach is stunning and wonderful beach bar with excellent food and drinks. Service is fantastic from all staff throughout, complimentary upgrade and bottle of bubbles on arrival was a pleasant touch. Walking distance wonderful restaurants and bars.

Beautiful pool and garden, friendly staff, comfortable room, lots of closet space and hangers, nice balcony, great location for walking into town, easy to get to beaches if you have a car, amazing bakery across the street. Our flight was very late the day of check out and they allowed us to stay and use the facilities in the spa to shower and get ready. Free on-site parking.

The Excelsior is located in the city center of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel.

The family that runs their hotel is wonderful. They are very responsive, kind, and hospitable. The property was their family home and built at the turn of the century by their great-grandmother (I believe). If you're looking for an incredible value and an authentically Italian experience, look no further. They maintain their property with love and pride and everyone in town knows and respects them. Their recommendations for dinner were perfection. We look forward to returning!

We spent 7 nights here, and it was the ideal base for exploring the beautiful beaches of northern Sardinia. San Pantaleo itself is a charming and vibrant town. The hotel had a warm, cozy atmosphere, with a huge and comfortable bed, and the breakfast was excellent—the photos don't do justice. However, the highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. They were consistently friendly, welcoming, and greeted us with a smile each day. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!
