Laveno was a very good choice for visiting Lake Maggiore: it’s peaceful and very convenient to discover the islands by boat. The decoration and the facilities of the hotel were very fine. Especially the food was delicious.

Perfect location, I received a video with explicit instructions on how to access the hotel and the response from the staff was prompt. There was complimentary drinking water, which I find very important, as you never know at what time you will arrive; water is always needed! The room had also a lazy boy chair with massage!!!

This is a beautiful hotel. The interior design looks like the early 1900s and this fits the hotel very well. Space is usually at premium around Lago Maggiore but this hotel has plenty of space everywhere: lobby, pool, restaurant, car park. The guests can use the facilities of nearby Hotel Dino which makes a total of three pools. Even the corridors linking the two hotels are very nice. The front desk staff are very friendly and I heard them speaking Italian, English, French and German fluently. The hotel is perfectly clean both in the rooms and the common areas. The rooms are large. The room is quite nice and is up to the standards of a four star hotel but with a few changes such as top quality mattress and sheets and also better quality shower gel and shampoo it could be a good five star hotel room.

Hotel Arancioamaro is set in Cannero Riviera, one of Lake Maggiore's most beautiful towns. It offers a restaurant, bar and terrace, plus rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Very nice restored hotel with a lot of charm, very friendly staff and good service, good breakfast and excellent restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, great view from the terrace and certain rooms. Be aware that you're remote on a hill above Varese, but that's what makes this place special. Nice surrounding area with a lot of possibilities for hiking, etc.. Visiting Varese and traveling by train and bus/cable car is possible and quite easy, even with luggage (hotel helps with timetables).
