Great comms with Marta, the owner. Being the first guests to arrive we were offered and shown 3 different rooms all of which were quite different and beautifully furnished.

Central. However station for Sulmona quite a walk from town. I noticed a little bus, so perhaps now this meets the trains… However Roberto and Leonardo who run the hotel helped me enormously by collecting me from the station after I had been out with friends and dropping me off to catch the train to Rome. It is a delightful family hotel where nothing is too much trouble. I enjoyed talking with la mama too. Room was spacious and well appointed and a good breakfast served.

OMG the lovely lady who, when I called from the station organised a taxi to the hotel. And then when I realised I was a little ambitious about public transport given my luggage, again organised a taxi to my dad's home village

Elegant rooms and hallways with everything you needed. Beautiful views, excellent breakfast, lovely staff . Very accomodating. I would always stay in in Sulmona .

Lovely host Dominic was friendly and helpful. The room was huge, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The view was incredible and although it was in a very quiet position, it was only a short drive to good restaurants and bars. It made a very good base to explore the Abruzzo region.
