Very lovely and helpful hosts. The breakfast is amazing and the breakfast room makes it even more special. The room was clean and cosy, just a bit cold (we were staying there during a rainy period in May). The location is also very suitable for Gardaland visitors, with just 15 minutes drive to the park entrance.

Excellent location by the lake! Short walk to the boat, slightly longer walk to the train station. The receptionist was Great, she gave good advice about local restaurants and boat schedules. Comfortable bed, everything was clean and well maintained. I usually don't care too much about the quality of the room but i got sick so i spent a full day staring at the furniture and walls after the tv got boring. So it was a good room to be sick in as well.

Hotel Villa Rosa is right on Desenzano del Garda's lakefront, near a small beach area and a 10-minute walk from the town centre. It offers a restaurant, an outdoor pool and hot tub.

It was so quiet in the room, probably due to the triple glazed windows and thick walls. The surroundings were peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and abundant, like a 5 course meal with the owner bringing out fresh local or homemade produce. We stayed two nights and our room was cleaned throughly each day. Everything felt new and clean, the wooden furnishings felt handcrafted and beautiful. The bed was so comfy, it was a pleasure sinking into clean linen, supportive pillows and comfy mattress, we slept really well! We'll be back when we need to getaway to destress and detox from the city life. The owner also pointed out some lovely towns to visit and restaurants to try in nearby villages. And we were gifted some homemade jam which i couldn't eat enough of before we checked out. Such a great experience all in all!
