The location is just GREAT. It's by the most popular Da Tong Park in Sapporo. You can walk underground from Sapporo station to the hotel without any heavy coat even it's snowing outdoor. Spa on the roof facing the park is also great.

Nice, comfortable hotel in the heart of Sapporo, just beside the Sapporo Clock Tower. In a relatively calm street, at waliking distance from most Sapporo viewpoints, the room are spacious and calm. The public bath, situated on the top level, is very nice and gives a great view on the city.

All the staff was really kind and helpful, can't thank them enough for being so nice as to make an effort to understand my basic and many times wrong Japanese. There's a lot of complimentary services / amenities that were tasty (free fermented milk in the mornings, free ice pops from the afternoon till after midnight and free lamen at night, free coffee in the afternoon and one small water bottle per guest every day they clean your room!) and helpful (free pocket heating packs and free washing (only drying is paid)). Although the double bed was a bit small, the covers were soft and warm, just lovely. The pillow was strangely hard but felt comfortable when I slept on it. The AC worked great and it was also really good the windows opened easily and widely enough so I could renew the air. The location is VERY convenient. It's a few minutes walk to a stop of the limousine bus from Shin Chitose. If you're coming for Yukimatsuri, it's close to Susukino and Odori venues for the ice and snow sculptures. It's also close to the Susukino subway station and Pole Town and Aurora Town underground facilities. The main entrance is on Tanukikoji street, which is a bustling and brightly lit street arcade. There's a Family Mart and a Seicomart on the same block if you don't want to get breakfast at the hotel. There's a Surugaya and a Mandarake 2 blocks aways. If you want to go back to CTS by bus, and the stops are reduced because of Yukimatsuri, it's easy to get to Sapporo Grand Hotel stop by the underground way to avoid the slippery streets on the surface. I really recommend the Dormy Inn Sapporo ANNEX and look forward to staying here again!
