Excellent heritage boutique hotel and the location is an extra bonus. Staff is very courteous. A tip is to not eat a very heavy dinner the night before as the breakfast is superb and you can't do justice to it if you've had too much to eat the night before.

We absolutely loved the superb architecture of the hotel and the amazing furniture - the whole place is like an exquisite piece of art. It was an experience of a time travel into the fascinating past of Penang. The room itself was beautiful as well. THE DESIGN AND DECOR OF THE HOTEL IS LIKE A HOME. IT'S SMALL AND COSY. WE STAYED AT THE TERRACE SUITE ROOM NO. 4. IT HAD 2 LARGE DOUBLE BEDS AND 1 SINGLE BED. WE STAYED FOR 5 NIGHTS. ROOM 4 WAS SPACIOUS AND VERY COMFORTABLE FOR THE 4 OF US ESPECIALLY AFTER A HOT DAY OF WALKING AROUND THE HERITAGE SITE.

This boutique hotel is housed in 3 rows of 2-storey shophouses originally built in the 1940s. A lovely base for exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town.

We stayed at the large colonial house room with 3 bedrooms. The room was huge and had all expected amenities. Good location. Relatively short walk to many sights in city center. Nice staff and decent breakfast. I would stay here again.
