Best leg of our trip. The hotel is simply gorgeous. It has the loveliest historic architecture and feel despite which they have ensure modern facilities like good air conditioning, hot water, etc. My favourite part of the hotel is the library / study on the mezzanine floor. Breakfast and food in the hotel was delicious. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, took time to explain all the sightings and road maps to us.

We liked Muntri Mews for severally reasons: 1) Location was perfect, everything we wanted to see was at 15/20 min walking distance, including most of the must try restaurants, we had to use taxis only in a couple of situations. 2) the place had lots of character, the way the room was decorated was lovely and we enjoyed an extended amount of time at the hotel since it was so relaxing 3) the room was super clean 4) all the staff was super nice and they even booked a taxi for us when we had to go to the train station. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we would certainly book it again if we are back in George Town
